About The Position

The Spine Team Texas Procedure Scheduler is responsible for scheduling all injections and procedures for patients. This position may be cross-trained to schedule surgeries for STT surgeons as a back up. The position requires active communication regarding patient status/progress with health team members and healthcare providers. It demands a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas. The Procedure Scheduler reports directly to the Scheduling Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous surgery and procedure scheduling experience required.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational ability.
Possess the ability to plan and execute work projects.
Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals.
Proficient in communicating in the English language both written and verbally.

Nice To Haves

Centricity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Schedule all injections and procedures performed by Spine Team Texas physicians.
Responsible for follow-up appointments.
May be cross-trained to schedule surgeries for STT surgeons as a back up.
Maintain close interaction with physicians and patients.
Comply with all HIPAA regulations at all times.
May be required to participate in Spine Conference.
Provide quality customer service.
Maintain confidentiality.
Problem solve.
Ensure accuracy with work.
Other duties and responsibilities may be required by the Spine Team Texas Clinical Director.
Maintain the highest level of customer service at all times.
Speak in a kind, courteous and professional manner when dealing with a patient/customer or co-worker.
