The Probation Division, as part of the Judiciary, provides case management, supervision, and support to clients placed on probation, or ordered to pay child support. Probation works closely with clients, judges, other divisions of the Judiciary, and community agencies. Probation also has a wide range of specialized programs such as Recovery Court, Gun Violence Reduction Initiative (GVI), JOBS Initiative (JOBS), Domestic Violence (DV), Mental Health (MH), Sex Abuse (SAB), Juvenile Programs, Collections (CEP), and Child Support Enforcement among other services. Probation is seeking dynamic, engaged undergraduate students in the social and behavioral science majors who are interested in broadening their understanding and gaining experience to a wide array of the judicial court system, probation, post disposition, and evidence-based practices.
