About The Position

This role is for a Pro Paint Specialist working in a Home Depot store, focusing on the unique needs of professional painting contractors. The specialist will build relationships with local pros, introduce them to Behr products, and provide exceptional customer service. This includes understanding their needs, mixing paint, gathering necessary tools, and ensuring a quick and efficient checkout experience, aiming to provide a "paint store experience" within the Home Depot environment. The position requires collaboration with Behr's outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor to foster a mutually beneficial relationship. Basic computer skills are needed for customer relationship management software, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Outgoing personality.
Ability to jump in and help wherever needed (self-starter).

Nice To Haves

Previous experience or knowledge in paint or sales.

Responsibilities

Meet and form relationships with local professional painting contractors.
Introduce Behr products to contractors and understand their specific needs.
Collaborate with outside sales representatives to assist contractors.
Pull and tint paint orders for contractor pick-up.
Mix paint and gather sundry paint tools for customers.
Ensure a quick and efficient checkout process for professional customers.
Maintain relationships with contractors and follow up on their jobs and future needs.
Introduce yourself to contractors at the Home Depot Pro Desk.
Work closely with Home Depot staff and Behr's outside sales reps.
Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce (customer relationship management tool).
Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
