About The Position
This role is for a Pro Paint Specialist working in a Home Depot store, focusing on the unique needs of professional painting contractors. The specialist will build relationships with local pros, introduce them to Behr products, and provide exceptional customer service. This includes understanding their needs, mixing paint, gathering necessary tools, and ensuring a quick and efficient checkout experience, aiming to provide a "paint store experience" within the Home Depot environment. The position requires collaboration with Behr's outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor to foster a mutually beneficial relationship. Basic computer skills are needed for customer relationship management software, and bilingual abilities are a plus.
Requirements

- Basic computer skills for customer management software.
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Self-starter.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (prior computer knowledge is a plus).

Responsibilities
- Meet and form relationships with local professional painting contractors.
- Introduce professional contractors to Behr products and their unique needs.
- Collaborate with contractors to identify and provide the right products.
- Mix paint and collect sundry paint tools for contractors.
- Ensure a quick and efficient checkout process for professional customers.
- Support the Home Depot Pro Desk and introduce yourself to contractors.
- Get to know contractors, their businesses, and their needs.
- Maintain relationships and follow up regarding their jobs and future needs.
- Work closely with Behr's outside sales reps and take care of customers they send in.
- Pull and tint orders for pick up.
- Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Work closely with Home Depot staff, maintaining a professional and helpful relationship.
- Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce (customer relationship management tool).
