PRN Paramedic
About The Position
Lumexa Imaging is seeking a PRN Paramedic to facilitate contrast injections at multiple locations, including their center in Arlington, TX. The Paramedic will be responsible for responding to adverse events such as contrast reactions or infiltrations, alerting the supervising radiologist via Teams audio/video for assessment and treatment instructions, and ensuring 911 is called when necessary. Prior to onsite coverage, the candidate must provide documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license, complete an MRI Safety Screening form, and review Emergency Response and MRI Safety training.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Previous experience as a certified EMT or Paramedic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Facilitate contrast injections at multiple locations.
- Respond to adverse events (contrast reaction, infiltration).
- Use Teams audio/video to alert supervising radiologist during adverse events.
- Assist radiologist with patient assessment and follow treatment instructions.
- Ensure 911 is called when necessary.
- Provide documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license.
- Complete MRI Safety Screening form.
- Review Emergency Response and MRI Safety training.
