Paramedic PRN Texas Health Fort Worth is looking for a Texas Licensed Paramedic (EMT-P). This opportunity will be working at our Fort Worth Hospital campus located at 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104. The work schedule for this opportunity will be PRN Variable Shifts. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required.
  • EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required
  • LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.
  • Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.

  • Professional Development Participates in change; understands, promotes, and values ed evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and/or research, and utilizes them in practice; follows guidelines and recommendations defined by regulatory or professional practice agencies.
  • Provides daily care that achieves outcome targets for core measures, NPSG, employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction, NDNQI and other unit/organizational metrics; demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and development; demonstrates a commitment to advancing the professional practice of paramedicine; incorporates ethical principles from the Texas Department of State Health Services EMT Code of Ethics.
  • 10% KPIs Assists in meeting departmental/hospital KPIs related to: Patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, financial performance, organizational effectiveness and community health care.
