About The Position
Wood Violet Recovery, located in Dodgeville, WI, is a voluntary, residential treatment center for adults experiencing substance use disorder, co-occurring disorders, and low-acuity mental health diagnoses. We are seeking to build our PRN (As-Needed) nursing pool to support our clients and nursing team. This role involves hands-on, fast-paced, and meaningful work in behavioral health nursing. The nurse will operate from a central nurse station, interacting with clients throughout the shift, offering a blend of structure and variety.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin LPN or RN license (required).
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing intake assessments and support detox treatment plans.
- Monitor client health status through regular nurse visits.
- Administer medications and document accurately.
- Respond to medical concerns with clinical judgment and compassion.
- Support clients through detox and stabilization protocols.
- Collaborate closely with RNs, LPNs, providers, and clinical staff.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory documentation standards.
