2027 Private Wealth Business Development Intern (Philadelphia)
About The Position
Glenmede is seeking a Private Wealth Business Development Intern for its 10-week program running from June to August 2027 in Philadelphia, PA. This hybrid position offers interns personal and professional development, insight into future career opportunities, and exposure to various business areas. The program includes networking events, a group project, volunteer opportunities, social outings, and interaction with professionals across the firm. Interns will gain hands-on experience, develop skills, receive mentorship, and acquire career insights within the Private Wealth sector, which focuses on integrated wealth management to help clients pursue their purpose, passions, and legacy. The Business Development team specifically works on identifying, developing, and cultivating new private clients, and this internship will provide foundational skills in sourcing, prospecting, and client development.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and a rising senior (graduating between May 2028-December 2028).
- Business majors preferred.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Desire to be in a client-facing role.
- Self-motivated with proactive resolutions and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out detailed work accurately and on time.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, ability to analyze.
- Ability to work within a team and on a self-directed basis.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, for the internship duration.
- Must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and will not require work visa sponsorship from Glenmede now or in the future.
