About The Position

Glenmede is seeking a Wealth Planning Intern for its 10-week program, running from June to August 2027, based in Philadelphia, PA. This hybrid position requires interns to work in the office at least three days per week. The internship offers personal and professional development, insight into future career opportunities, networking events, a final group project, volunteer opportunities, social outings, and exposure to professionals across the business. Glenmede, an independently owned firm with over 65 years of experience, provides wealth management, endowment & foundation, and investment management services. The Private Wealth division focuses on integrated wealth management, and the Wealth Planning team advises individuals and families on complex financial matters including estate planning, taxes, insurance, retirement, budgeting, and investments.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and a rising senior, graduating between May 2028-December 2028.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Desire to be in a client facing role.
  • Self-motivated with proactive resolutions and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out detailed work accurately and on time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, ability to analyze.
  • Ability to work within a team and on a self-directed basis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, for the internship duration.
  • Glenmede will only consider candidates who are currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Glenmede now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
