Private Swim Instructor
About The Position
InstaSwim connects independent swim instructors with families seeking private swim lessons at home and community pools in Fayetteville and nearby towns. Instructors receive lesson offers through the marketplace, choose which offers to accept, set their own schedule, and decide how far they are willing to travel. InstaSwim’s support team handles bookings, billing, and scheduling questions so instructors can focus on teaching. The instructor teaches private one-on-one and small-group lessons at families’ pools. Lessons are tailored to each swimmer’s age, ability, and goals, with progress tracked and instruction adjusted as swimmers improve. Instructors are expected to keep lessons safe and fun. Instructors who complete onboarding are covered by InstaSwim’s liability insurance while teaching InstaSwim lessons. Pay is $40 to $65 per one-hour lesson; some offers include a $5 to $25 pay boost, stated in writing before acceptance. This is an independent contractor role.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified before teaching.
- Reliable transportation.
- Legally able to work in the United States.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Professional, positive attitude with children and adults.
Nice To Haves
- Swim teaching experience is a plus; no minimum experience is required.
