Private Swim Instructor
About The Position
InstaSwim is hiring professional and experienced private swim instructors to provide lessons at clients’ private homes and community pools in their local area and surrounding cities. The company supplies client opportunities, while instructors choose their schedules, preferred travel radius, and which clients to work with. Instructors are paid within 24 hours after each lesson and are added to InstaSwim’s general liability insurance policy. Background-check costs are covered. Depending on onboarding, instructors may be able to begin teaching within 24–48 hours after the interview. InstaSwim is a national private mobile swim lesson company serving clients in major cities across the United States. It offers personalized swim instruction for people of all ages and skill levels in the comfort of their own pools, with support staff available to help instructors. The role offers flexible scheduling and competitive pay of $40–$70 per one-hour lesson.
Requirements
- At least two years of swim instruction experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
- Reliable transportation.
- Swim instruction equipment, if needed.
- Must be based in the United States and have U.S. work authorization.
- Professional and positive attitude when working with children and adults.
- Confidence in creating and delivering personalized lesson plans.
- Must pass a background check.
Responsibilities
- Conduct private one-to-one and small-group swim lessons.
- Schedule lessons flexibly.
- Travel safely to and from clients’ pool locations.
- Create lesson plans tailored to each student’s ability and learning style.
- Assess students’ skills, monitor their progress, and adapt lessons to meet student and client needs.
- Provide a fun, complete, and tracked learning experience for students and clients.
- Ensure student safety at all times.
