About The Position

InstaSwim is hiring professional, experienced private swim instructors to teach lessons at clients’ private homes and community pools within their local area. Instructors receive client matches and choose which clients to work with, set their own schedules, and select a preferred travel radius. Lessons may be one-on-one or small group, and instructors create personalized lesson plans, assess and track student progress, adapt instruction to meet student and client needs, and ensure student safety. The role involves local travel to pool locations. InstaSwim provides general liability coverage, covers the cost of the background check, and processes payment within 24 hours after each lesson through PayPal or other methods. Instructors may be able to begin teaching within 24–48 hours after the interview, depending on onboarding.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of swim instruction experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Reliable transportation.
• Swim instruction equipment, if needed.
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the United States.
• Professional and positive attitude when working with children and adults.
• Confidence creating and delivering personalized lesson plans.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct private one-on-one and small-group swim lessons.
• Schedule lessons flexibly.

• Assess students’ skills, monitor and track progress, and adapt lessons to students’ and clients’ needs.
