About The Position
InstaSwim connects independent swim instructors with families seeking private swim lessons at home and community pools in Providence and nearby towns. Families book through InstaSwim, and instructors choose which lesson offers to accept and set their own schedules. InstaSwim is a nationwide marketplace for private, mobile swim lessons, serving children and adults of all ages and skill levels. Its support team handles bookings, billing, and scheduling questions so instructors can focus on teaching. Instructors teach private one-on-one and small-group lessons at family pools. They plan lessons around each swimmer’s age, ability, and goals, track progress, adapt instruction as swimmers improve, and keep lessons safe and enjoyable. Instructors travel to lessons within the distance they choose. Instructors receive lesson offers when families nearby book, depending on local demand, and are paid quickly after each completed lesson. Instructors who complete onboarding are covered by InstaSwim liability insurance while teaching InstaSwim lessons. The application and onboarding process is completed online.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have current CPR and First Aid certifications, or be willing to obtain them before teaching.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be legally able to work in the United States.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- Have a professional, positive attitude with children and adults.

- Swim teaching experience is a plus.
