About The Position

This role involves leading and coordinating strategic operational initiatives within the MSIM Private Credit & Equity division. The focus is on process improvement, workflow optimization, technology enablement, and AI integration. The analyst will partner with investment, operations, and technology teams to identify and implement solutions that enhance execution, reporting, and data integrity. Key responsibilities include managing cross-functional projects, supporting core business systems, analyzing data for insights and automation, improving reporting infrastructure, and evaluating emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, business operations, strategic initiatives, data analytics, or technology/process optimization within private equity, private credit, investment banking, consulting, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder management, execution tracking, issue/risk management, and process improvement.
  • Experience working with large datasets, operational reporting, workflow redesign, and business systems optimization.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with DealCloud CRM, eFront, Cobalt, and AI Agent builds.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, and enterprise data/process management solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate strategic operational initiatives focused on process improvement, workflow optimization, technology enablement, and AI integration across the MSIM Private Credit & Equity division.
  • Partner with investment, operations, and technology teams to evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable solutions that improve execution, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Manage cross-functional projects including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, project planning, status tracking, issue resolution, and implementation support.
  • Support the optimization and administration of core business systems, including CRM and portfolio management platforms (DealCloud experience preferred).
  • Analyze operational, financial, and business process data to develop actionable insights, reporting enhancements, and workflow automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve reporting infrastructure, data governance, and process standardization across teams.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, automation tools, and AI-enabled solutions to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
