About The Position

This role involves building and maintaining valuation models for various illiquid investments, supporting the valuation process throughout the deal lifecycle, and coordinating with internal teams and external parties. The Senior Associate will also be responsible for preparing valuation reports, analyzing performance data, and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

5–7 years of relevant experience in private equity, private credit, structured products, or illiquid asset valuation.
Strong valuation and modeling background, with experience across a range of private and less liquid investments.
Demonstrated ability to operate independently and exercise judgment, while working as an individual contributor within a broader team structure.
Proven ability to coordinate across multiple functions and manage stakeholders effectively.
Strong attention to detail, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Bloomberg, CapIQ, and iLevel.

CFA or progress toward CFA preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain valuation models across private equity, private credit, structured credit, and other illiquid investments, using methodologies including DCF, market comparables, recovery analysis, and option-pricing models.
Support valuation approach from deal inception through funding and across the life of the investment.
Partner with Portfolio Managers, Accounting, Operations, and Valuation Control to help build scalable workflows, tools, and processes to support a rapidly growing business.
Act as a key contact for valuation-related queries and monitor performance and financial data.
Liaise with external valuation agents and auditors, providing support on methodologies, assumptions, and model outputs.
Prepare valuation reports highlighting key drivers, material changes, and P&L movements.
Support ad hoc projects and enhancements to valuation processes, controls, and reporting.
