About The Position

Advantage Capital is seeking motivated, confident, and articulate individuals with 0–4 years of post-undergraduate experience. Candidates are expected to have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a strong record of leadership. This role begins with a primary focus on sourcing new investment opportunities—identifying and building relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and operators across a broad range of industries. Over time, Analysts will also gain exposure to financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution, providing a well-rounded private equity experience.

Requirements

0-4 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field helpful but not required (or estimated graduation date spring/summer 2026)
Demonstrates a track record of high achievement in demanding academic settings.

Responsibilities

Perform outreach for investment sourcing and build relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and operators of companies in a broad range of industries.
Evaluate debt and equity investment opportunities.
Complete financial analysis and modeling, industry research, and general due diligence on potential investments.
Assist in the negotiation and structuring of debt and equity transactions.
Draft and present investment memos detailing transactions, companies and industries.
