Private Equity Analyst

Freestone Capital Management•Seattle, WA
•$85,000 - $100,000

About The Position

Freestone is seeking a proactive and organized Private Equity Analyst to join its Investment Team and work within the Advantage Partners Fund Series, Freestone’s opportunistic private markets platform. The platform provides clients access to direct investments in private equity, energy, credit, and specialty insurance. Private equity and energy strategies typically take majority-control positions alongside management teams, with investments across industrial services, oil and gas, and business services. The credit and specialty insurance strategies broaden the platform’s private-markets exposure and allow the team to pursue opportunities with attractive risk-adjusted returns. The Analyst will support sourcing and filtering investment opportunities, underwriting, fund operations, internal reporting, and team administration. The role owns a diverse set of investment workflows and fund operations, requiring organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail. The Analyst will also distill investment analysis into recommendations for the Portfolio Manager and Freestone’s Investment Committee. The position requires periodic travel, including for conferences and networking events.
