Private Duty Nurse Needed in Oakland County
About The Position
Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-to-one private duty nursing in patients’ homes. Nurses deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including day, night, and weekend shifts. Pay is competitive based on experience, with weekly pay and optional daily pay. Centria Healthcare is a Michigan-based home healthcare provider specializing in private duty nursing, complex pediatric care, and catastrophic injury services.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience is preferred but not required.
- Tracheostomy or ventilator experience is a plus; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, medication administration, and catheter care.
- Monitor and document patients’ conditions and vital signs.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Communicate with families and care teams.
- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
