Private Duty Nurse Needed in Oakland County
About The Position
Centria Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing in patients’ homes. Nurses deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including day, night, and weekend shifts. Pay is competitive and based on experience, with weekly pay and an optional daily-pay option. Paid training, shadow shifts, and 24/7 clinical support are provided. Health benefits and sick time are available to eligible employees. The patient population includes children from birth through age 21 and adults with complex medical needs.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience is preferred but not required.
- Tracheostomy or ventilator experience is a plus; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, medication administration, and catheter care.
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Communicate with families and care teams.
- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
