About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate and dependable In-Home Caregivers to provide one-on-one care for clients throughout Northeast Wisconsin. With clients across multiple communities, we work to match caregivers with available assignments based on location, availability, experience, and client needs. Whether you're looking for regularly scheduled hours close to home or opportunities to pick up additional shifts, Private Duty home care offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in someone's life. Private Duty care gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with clients in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Instead of working with multiple residents at once, you'll have the opportunity to focus on the individual needs of your client while building a meaningful relationship.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Reliable transportation
Comfortable assisting clients with personal care and activities of daily living
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently in a client's home

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
Compassionate, dependable, and professional

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers
Meal and snack preparation
Medication reminders
Companionship and conversation
Transportation or accompaniment to errands and medical appointments
Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, and bathroom cleanup
Observing and reporting changes in a client's physical or mental condition
Following each client's individual care plan
Other care-related duties as assigned by the Client Care Coordinator
