About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to clients in the community. Working from a written plan of care established by a registered nurse, the caregiver provides personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role offers opportunities to build close relationships with clients. Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- Active CNA license registered with North Carolina and in good standing.
- Compliance with BAYADA policy requirements for home care.
Responsibilities
- Follow a written plan of care established by a registered nurse.
- Provide personal care, household support, and companion care services.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
