About The Position

McKenney Home Care is seeking dependable Caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs for weekend opportunities through its Bonita Springs office. The family-owned private-duty home care agency serves Lee and Collier County. Caregivers provide meaningful one-on-one care in clients’ private homes, with assignments matched to their availability, skills, experience, and comfort level. Weekend schedules vary by client and can include morning visits, short or split shifts, standard 4–6 hour shifts, extended 7–12 hour day or overnight shifts, and frequently available 12-hour day and overnight shifts. Ongoing assignments may be available. The agency offers 24/7 office and nursing support and guides selected applicants through any remaining onboarding requirements.

Requirements

Strong communication skills and a dependable, professional approach to caregiving.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Current hands-on CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
Current TB test, or willingness to obtain one.
Level 2 AHCA background screening, or willingness to complete it.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and safe mobility.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and medication reminders.
Help with light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Follow each client’s individualized care plan and complete required documentation.
Observe and communicate changes or concerns to the office team.
