Full-time Rotational Private Chef in Miami

Montclair Chef•Miami, FL

About The Position

A very private Miami family is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join its established full-time chef team. This is a long-term position serving a family of six, with a flexible rotational schedule that is typically four to five days on followed by four to five days off, and may be up to one week on and one week off. The role is primarily based in Miami, with occasional travel between the family’s residences or ahead of the family’s arrival. Housing may be provided, and the start date is within the next few weeks. The chef will prepare healthy Californian-style, farm-to-table meals with organic and seasonal ingredients, Mediterranean influences, and balanced nutrition. The kitchen is strictly gluten-free, requiring celiac-safe preparation and careful prevention of cross-contamination. The family has individual preferences and dietary goals; children may eat separately from adults, and the chef may prepare up to three meals daily. The family also entertains and expects the chef to provide excellent food for larger gatherings. The emphasis is on delicious, nutritious, consistently prepared food rather than elaborate or Michelin-style presentation. The position includes daily menu planning, meal preparation, kitchen inventory management, food preparation for travel, labelling, and coordination with the wider household team. The successful candidate will be discreet, flexible, professional, humble, positive, and team-oriented, integrating smoothly with a long-serving staff. Candidates must have legal authorization to live and work in the United States and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Compensation is $230,000–$250,000+ per year depending on experience, with an exceptional overall package, relocation assistance, and possible temporary housing assistance. Candidates must sign an NDA before receiving further confidential details.
