About The Position

Rockefeller Capital Management was established in 2018 as a leading independent financial advisory services firm. Originally founded in 1882 as the family office of John D. Rockefeller, the Firm has evolved to offer strategic advice to ultra- and high-net-worth individuals and families, institutions, and corporations from offices in 33 markets throughout the United States, as well as an office in London. The Firm oversees $224 billion in client assets as of June 30, 2026. A Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office business unit is seeking a Part-Time Intern to support their team this fall. This is a project-based role focused primarily on leveraging AI technologies to improve operational efficiency, streamline internal workflows, and enhance the team's AI capabilities. Working directly with the Private Advisor team, the intern will help identify opportunities for automation, evaluate emerging AI tools, and assist in building scalable processes that support a growing business. The intern may occasionally provide basic administrative or office support, including serving as a backup resource for phone coverage and responding to client inquiries.

Requirements

  • High school degree required
  • Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Business, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field is desirable
  • Demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, automation, emerging technologies, digital transformation, or business operations
  • Interest in financial services, wealth management, or family office operations is a plus
  • Ability to commit approximately 10 hours per week during the academic year

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of the team's internal AI infrastructure, workflows, and best practices
  • Research, test, and evaluate AI tools and technologies that can improve efficiency, organization, and productivity
  • Support the implementation of firm-sponsored AI initiatives, pilots, and internal technology enhancements
  • Create, refine, and maintain AI prompts, templates, process guides, and workflow documentation for team use
  • Analyze current team processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, or improved knowledge management
  • Help organize business information, project materials, and internal resources in a way that supports effective use of the firm's AI interface
  • Partner with the Private Advisor to understand operational needs and translate them into practical AI-enabled solutions
  • Assist with special projects related to business growth, team operations, and process improvement
  • Provide limited administrative support to the team when needed, including basic office communications or phone coverage
