About The Position

The Printing Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of large-scale printing solutions across the full lifecycle of the printing service. This role involves daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and user support for printing systems. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, proposing improvements, and staying updated on technological trends to ensure the modernization of the printing environment. The position is based at Frontex Headquarters in Warsaw and requires 100% on-site presence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of IT relevant experience (2 years in relevant/similar IT roles).
  • Excellent practical knowledge of enterprise-class printing solutions (hardware and software).
  • Experience in large-scale design, deployment, administration, maintenance and support of enterprise printing solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain solution documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High sense of responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Service-oriented attitude with a cooperative and supportive personality.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • High level of motivation and initiative.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience with Uniflow.
  • Practical experience with toners stock management.
  • Experience with ID card printers and thermal printers.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience with HP Web Jetadmin (administration).
  • Level 4 minimum level of education.
  • English language skills (CEFR): B2.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of printing solutions such as Canon UniFlow, HP WebJetAdmin, Microsoft Universal Print.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end management of large-scale printing solutions across the full lifecycle of the printing service.

  • Monitoring and ensuring availability and performance of printing services.
  • Troubleshooting incidents and resolving issues related to printing systems.
  • Providing user support for daily printing operations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation, including policies, SOPs, technical manuals and knowledge base articles.
  • Proposing, advising and implementing improvements, upgrades and configuration changes to enhance service performance, usability and security.
  • Following technological trends and ensuring modernisation of the printing environment.
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
