About The Position

Visual Image Photography, a photography team with over 75 years of experience, is seeking a Print Production Assistant for their Cedarburg, Wisconsin production department. This is a seasonal position, requiring 40 hours per week from June through September, with a possibility for year-round employment. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following directions from team leads. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Mechanically inclined with strong ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Digitally proficient
• Must meet physical requirements including standing for long periods and occasional lifting of up to 65 lbs (laminate rolls)

Responsibilities

• Operate finishing equipment to produce student ID cards including laminator and die cutter
• Generate print jobs from proprietary ID software
• Perform quality control checks during production to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Route completed jobs to appropriate areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Provide support in bindery, assembly, packaging, dye sublimation, wide format, and shipping/receiving departments when necessary and time permits
