About The Position

GEICO is seeking an experienced Principal Tester to lead and improve software validation and deployment practices across its Specialty ecosystem. The role will guide a team of testers through day-to-day work and set technical direction for adopting scalable, automation-first testing across the claims platform. It combines hands-on experience with automation tools and the ability to mentor team members, prioritize initiatives, and represent testing quality to product and engineering stakeholders. The Principal Tester will own testing quality outcomes for platform releases, help shift appropriate processes from manual to automated coverage, and support the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests and execution pipelines. The position also involves coordinating testing plans across teams, analyzing results and datasets to identify defects and root causes, and continuously improving automation coverage and testing effectiveness.
