About The Position

Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. Interacts with customer and functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses. Prepares lesson plans from engineering documentation, field service requirements or software documentation. Works with engineering, technical support and manufacturing to ensure that course material reflects current product features. Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. Follows up to determine applicability of course material. Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Provides resolution to an assortment of problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments; work is reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Contributes to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years demonstrated experience designing and delivering instructor-led technical training (virtual and/or in-person)
  • General enterprise data and networking technical proficiency with cybersecurity proficiency desired
  • Proficiency with remote training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, etc.)
  • Experience working in Linux environments and with common shell commands
  • Comfortable setting up and maintaining virtualized lab environments (e.g., AWS Cloud, VM workstations, custom sandbox environments)
  • Ability to adjust content and delivery style to different technical proficiency levels and customer provided feedback
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.
  • Security Clearance preferred but not required
