About The Position

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist who is experienced in supply chain management and is a motivated self-starter to support the Tactical Fighters Business Unit. This position is working in our Baltimore, MD facility. The Supply Chain Planning Specialist's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule. Manage material budget for contract requirements. Supporting baselining/EVMS requirements. Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s) (Cognos, CMEs, IPRS). Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements. Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements. Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues. Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers. #MRP

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field OR Master's degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain, contracts, business and/or related field.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite with expertise in MS Excel.
  • SAP experience
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, Business or Operations, or Financial Planning.
  • Experience in Earned Value Management Systems
  • Control Account Manager (CAM) certification
  • Experience in Federal and Defense contracting requirements including ITAR, DOS licenses, FAR and DFARS.
