About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join their team of qualified, diverse individuals in the GSC Demand Planning organization. This position will be located onsite in Dayton, OH. Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 4 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment (for Associate level).
A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master’s degree with 0 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 6 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment (for Specialist level).
MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

Long term capacity and resource planning.
Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements.
Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling.
Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution.
Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review.
Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team.
Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution.
Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs.
