About The Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join their team of qualified, diverse individuals in the GSC Demand Planning organization. This position will be located onsite in Dayton, OH. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 4 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment (for Associate level).
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master’s degree with 0 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 6 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment (for Specialist level).
  • MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Long term capacity and resource planning.
  • Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements.
  • Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
  • Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
  • Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling.
  • Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
  • Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution.
  • Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review.
  • Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team.
  • Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution.
  • Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs.
