About The Position

Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, specializes in customized power distribution and protection systems, including relay and control panels, medium-voltage switchgear, and power/control buildings. Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into Axiom, a new independent publicly traded company, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, which focuses on critical digital infrastructure and power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. The role, based in Fontana, California, develops, directs, and coordinates material planning activities to balance supply and demand and support customer service. The manager directs planning practices for finished goods and work in process, leads and develops a team, and coordinates with senior management and other departments to maintain forecasts and supply-and-demand plans. This position reports to the Materials Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Direct the team in applying best practices to daily finished-goods and work-in-process planning.
Manage, coach, and mentor a team, supporting continuous development and performance management.
Direct planner activities to achieve inventory-level and inventory-turn goals, reduce back orders, and enhance customer service.
Meet with senior management to obtain strategic information that could affect the forecast.
Work with the team to modify forecasts for historical and environmental events, and collaborate with departments to develop and maintain accurate forecasts.
Hold cross-functional meetings to review the supply-and-demand plan.
Review issues and recommend responses concerning long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.
