Principal Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect Senior Principal, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced, cloud-based mortgage servicing solutions. Working with a geographically dispersed team, you will lead the architectural design and development of innovative solutions for our cloud platforms. This remote position offers the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders, provide technical leadership, and contribute to the success of our enterprise web applications.

Lead the architectural design and development of innovative solutions for our cloud platforms.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development process.

Collaborate with stakeholders, other Managers, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, Client Service Representatives, and clients to understand business requirements, translate them into technical architecture and design, and demonstrate progress throughout the process.

Work on an agile team with both onshore and offshore team members to help plan, implement and support enterprise web applications.

Design, develop and test new system capabilities, including web UI, REST API, Microservices, serverless components, cloud native.

Create, maintain, and communicate architectural documentation, including systems diagrams, design patterns, and solution blueprints.

Participate in code reviews and provide insights to ensure code quality, adherence to architecture, and best practices.

Identify technical challenges and risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.

Continuously enhance skills by learning and applying relevant technologies and patterns.

Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator.

Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter who is willing to work independently and learn.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8-12+ years' experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding of web application development
• Agile development methodology
• Deep experience with Microservices / Data Domain driven designs
• Experience on Microsoft .NET Core and Azure native components
• Experience with the ASP.NET MVC stack
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Visual Studio and GIT
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Experience with Angular and ReactJS
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design
• Extensive experience with full-lifecycle development (i.e., design, coding, testing, debugging, etc.)
• Experience with distributed systems, C#, ASP.NET, REST, and SQL programming
