Senior Director Software Engineering - Default Servicing

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned Sr Director, Software Engineering to join our team. You will oversee implementing, supporting and managing our Loss Mitigation and Default Services application platform and process(s). This role will deliver successful software development and support of our application(s) operations. The role also requires technical leadership, collaboration with the business, and continuous improvement of existing software applications and architecture.

• Focus on functional, technical, and implementation aspects of work products
• Possess extensive business, technical, and procedural knowledge to oversee workflow, budget, staff, output, and overall standards and procedures of application development group
• Direct, lead, and deliver application development projects through comprehensive software development life cycle processes
• Manage client relationship and ensure customer satisfaction
• Collaborate and partner with business to plan and execute development projects
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on software development tools, technology, and Agile methodologies
• Coach, empower, and lead team members to optimum performance
• Execute continuous improvement of existing software applications and architecture
• Resolve development and application issues and provide technical leadership in security remediation activities
• Mentor developers on implementing security remediation and secure programming practices
• Understand and meet functional and non-functional requirements of applications
• Manage Software Engineering practice as a manager
• Knowledge of IT service management processes and protocols
• Excellent managerial skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
• Influence and orchestrate efforts of diverse professionals in resolving major incidents
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
• Detailed knowledge of technologies

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years' experience as a manager of Software Engineering practice
• Solid knowledge of IT service management processes and protocols
• Excellent managerial skills and ability to collaborate with members of multiple teams
• Ability to effectively influence and orchestrate the efforts of diverse professionals across multiple teams in driving triage, diagnosis, and resolution of a Major Incident
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
• Detailed knowledge of technologies
• Dynamic leadership and agent of change capable of influencing the direction of the organization while maintaining a culture where associates are recognized as important assets to the company
• Demonstrate a repertoire of skills such as scheduling, prioritizing, organizing, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, financial savvy, attention to detail, and follow-through
