Principal Solutions Architect

Join Sagent as a Solutions Architect Senior Principal and be part of an innovative team working on a cloud native mortgage servicing solution. In this role, you will lead the architectural design and development of solutions for our cloud platforms, provide technical leadership to development teams, collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and work on agile teams to implement and support enterprise web applications. With a focus on continuous learning and applying relevant technologies, you will contribute to the success of our mission to simplify and make homeownership safer for consumers.

• Lead the architectural design and development of innovative solutions for cloud platforms
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development process
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical architecture and design
• Work on an agile team to plan, implement, and support enterprise web applications
• Design, develop, and test new system capabilities, including web UI, REST API, Microservices, serverless components, and cloud native
• Create, maintain, and communicate architectural documentation
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to architecture and best practices
• Identify technical challenges and risks, and develop mitigation strategies
• Continuously enhance skills by learning and applying relevant technologies and patterns
• Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator
• Must have a positive attitude and be a self-starter
• Have a passion for success and willingness to go above and beyond to accomplish goals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8-12+ years' experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding of web application development
• Agile development methodology
• Deep experience with Microservices / Data Domain driven designs
• Experience on Microsoft .NET Core and Azure native components
• Experience with the ASP.NET MVC stack
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Visual Studio and GIT
• Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Experience with Angular and ReactJS
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design
• Extensive experience with full-lifecycle development
• Experience with distributed systems, C#, ASP.NET, REST, and SQL programming
