About The Position

Infosys is hiring a Principal SAP GTS Consultant for its Retail, Consumer Goods, and Logistics unit. The role focuses on SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA (E4H), including implementation, migration, configuration, integration, and operation of its core modules. The consultant will work on trade compliance, customs processes, preference management, product classification, and Intrastat, while aligning technical solutions with business goals and enterprise architecture standards. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role now or in the future. Requirements

Hands-on SAP GTS experience, including SAP GTS Edition for SAP HANA (E4H).
Experience in a project lead or delivery lead capacity on SAP GTS implementations or migrations.
Hands-on experience configuring and operating SAP GTS E4H core modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management, Products & Classification, and Intrastat.
Experience with SAP GTS E4H Fiori apps, including embedded analytics, export/import declaration management, transit declaration management, and long-term supplier declaration processes.
Understanding of SAP GTS integration architecture, including SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC feeder connectivity, master data distribution, document transfer, and RFC/ALE-based integration.
Knowledge of AI/ML-powered product classification capabilities within SAP GTS E4H.
Deep knowledge of international trade regulations, including import/export controls, embargo checks, sanctioned party list screening, and legal control.
Understanding of customs procedures, including electronic customs processing, predeclaration, transit procedures, and excise duty monitoring.
Experience with preference determination, free trade agreement management, and long-term supplier declarations.
Familiarity with Intrastat reporting requirements for intra-EU trade statistics.
Understanding of product classification using Harmonized System nomenclature and customs tariff number management.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; the employer will also consider three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
SAP GTS certification.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with SAP GTS.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori UX and SAP HANA platform fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex business processes, identify optimization opportunities, and draft detailed requirements aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Define solution architecture and guide customization and integration based on business analysis.
Design and implement advanced customizations within ERP platform capabilities and limitations, and develop software applications in collaboration with the development team.
Develop complex integration workflows connecting the ERP system with external applications.
Lead large-scale data migration strategies while ensuring data integrity.
Implement performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience.
Lead compliance initiatives and audits to uphold security protocols and industry standards.
Document complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops for different user groups.
Configure and operate SAP GTS E4H core modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management, Products & Classification, and Intrastat.
Work with SAP GTS E4H Fiori apps and processes, including embedded analytics, export/import declaration management, transit declaration management, and long-term supplier declarations.
Address SAP GTS integration with feeder systems, master data distribution, document transfer, and RFC/ALE-based integration.
Apply trade compliance, customs, preference determination, free trade agreement, Intrastat, and product-classification expertise.
Contribute strategic, sector-specific expertise to deliver high-quality projects and align technical solutions with business goals.
