About The Position

GitGuardian is a global cybersecurity scale-up with offices in Paris, New York City, and Boston. The company leads in Non-Human Identity security, offering solutions for secrets detection, remediation, observability, and leak prevention. These solutions are used by over 600,000 developers worldwide. The Principal Sales Engineer will support an extended sales cycle, demonstrating the platform to various stakeholders and working closely with Account Executives. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, acting as the technical voice and product expert. Responsibilities include supporting Proofs of Concept (PoCs), performing technical product demos, running secrets analysis for pipeline generation, architecting custom workflows for prospective customers, and providing Tier 1 support for existing Enterprise customers post-sales. The role also involves partnering with Marketing and Product teams to create technical collateral. The ideal candidate will have significant experience (7+ years) as a technical Sales Engineer in Cybersecurity, DevOps, or DevSecOps. A solid understanding of the modern SDLC, microservices vs. monolithic architecture, and CI/CD is essential for effectively communicating with technical teams. Experience with complex sales cycles in large enterprise environments and well-developed project management skills, including multi-threading with various stakeholders, are required. A customer-facing and sales-oriented personality is also key.
