About The Position

Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD), part of Amazon Supply Chain Services, is building the future of logistics by enabling manufacturers of all sizes to leverage Amazon's supply chain, transportation network, and technology to move products faster, more reliably, and at a lower cost. This role is for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Principal Product Manager - Tech who will operate in a customer-facing, startup-like environment within Amazon. The position requires deep product management expertise to work backwards from customers, identify high-impact opportunities, and drive rapid innovation. The individual will navigate ambiguity, define product strategy, and deliver solutions to complex technical challenges in the logistics industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings, enjoys thinking big, tackling ambiguous problems, and building customer-delighting products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product strategy, including customer research, competitive benchmarking, and domain strategy to define a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Drive product development from concept to launch, leading day-to-day execution across the full product lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, program managers, scientists, and other product owners, to bring product visions to life at scale.
• Write clear, measurable product requirements with well-defined success criteria.
• Make smart trade-offs by negotiating effectively across competing priorities, balancing speed, scope, and quality.
• Leverage data to drive decisions, shape business strategy, and inform technical priorities.
• Communicate independently about products and the broader product team to senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical partners.
• Navigate ambiguity and escalate effectively in complex, fast-moving environments while preserving cross-functional relationships.
• Enable the efficient movement of inventory across Amazon's supply chain.
• Partner with scientists and engineers to define and execute strategies for faster, lower-cost distribution.
• Lead cross-functional working sessions, align stakeholders on priorities, and share best practices.
• Mentor team members and scale impact by educating others on leading practices.
