About The Position

Responsible for leading an organization that provides spare parts delivery service to base maintenance, repair shops, and the airline. This role ensures inventory accuracy through a consistent cycle count program and maintains stores compliance integrity through audits and direct communication with front-line employees. The position involves leading diverse employee groups, fostering collaboration between supply chain, production, planning, and engineering, and establishing team performance objectives to support business goals. It also includes active participation in coaching and development sessions, maintaining audit compliance, and managing day-to-day operational requirements through supervisors and crew chiefs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 4 years experience in warehouse distribution, supply chain or a service parts industry
  • Previous experience with being sensitive to diversity and having worked in a way consistent with the principles of equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration, problem solving, diplomacy, and team building
  • Ability to successfully coach and develop individuals
  • Ability to adapt and empathize with diverse audiences
  • Understanding of process improvement tools such as LEAN and Six Sigma, and ability to leverage these tools in analyzing and improving existing processes
  • Demonstrated responsibility of caring for the health and safety of self, as well as, the safety of others who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions

Responsibilities

  • Cares for and leads diverse employee groups, including front line team members
  • Maintains effective collaboration between supply chain, production, planning, and engineering
  • Helps to establish team performance objectives that will support the Company’s, maintenance, and repair shop business objectives
  • Leads the accomplishment of these team objectives to help ensure the Company’s success
  • Actively participate in regular coaching/development sessions of those you lead as well as self
  • Maintains audit compliance
  • Works closely with other departments in Technical Operations
  • Manages through supervisors and crew chiefs day to day operation requirements
