About The Position

The Principal will lead execution and delivery of mission-critical digital, data, and automation programs across the Oil & Gas value chain, including Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream operations. The role focuses on applying digital technologies to improve operational performance, reliability, efficiency, and safety. The Principal leads digital transformation delivery from requirements and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Solutions may include analytics models, automation workflows, optimization tools, real-time monitoring, digital workflows, dashboards, predictive models, and automated decision-support tools. The role works closely with client operations, engineering, IT/OT, and field teams to support implementation and adoption. The position also leads projects and programs, potentially serving as program lead, project manager, or Agile delivery leader for large transformation programs. It involves coordinating distributed teams, managing delivery governance and project controls, facilitating stakeholder workshops and operational-readiness assessments, and selecting an Agile, SAFe, hybrid, or waterfall approach suited to the engagement. The Principal identifies and prioritizes digital use cases for reliability, safety, throughput, cost, energy efficiency, and emissions management. The role guides predictive and prescriptive analytics and supports scalable solutions through reusable architectures, data pipelines, automation frameworks, and digital operating models. Extensive travel is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.
