About The Position

As a Principal Mission Solution Architect supporting CACI’s Mission & Engineering Support (M&ES) portfolio, you will lead compelling, executable, and scorable solutions for CACI’s largest, most complex, and strategically important DoD, Intelligence Community, and interagency opportunities. You will translate ambiguous customer missions and acquisition requirements into clear solution and proposal narratives. This executive-level role is a recognized technical leadership and trusted-advisor position. You will shape short- to mid-term solution strategies, influence business decisions, lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships, brief senior leadership, and mentor other Solution Architects. This is a mission-focused architecture role, not a generic enterprise IT position. The role develops integrated solutions across M&ES capability areas, bringing together people, process, technology, data, cyber, training, sustainment, and operations. It leads technical solution development from early customer shaping through proposal, oral presentation, award, and transition, and contributes to solution-development standards, reusable patterns, and methods used by the Solution Architect community.

  • Relevant technical or mission areas include intelligence analysis or operations; systems or mission engineering; offensive or defensive cyber and cyber mission operations; mission operations support; and UXS/C-UXS, ISR platforms, autonomy, or emerging mission systems.
  • Proven experience leading technical solutions for large, complex, strategically important federal captures, proposals, capability-development efforts, or mission programs.
  • Experience influencing senior leadership decisions.

  • Collaborate with LOB leaders, Capture, Business Development, program teams, SMEs, and mission experts to identify customer priorities, operational gaps, critical issues, stated or implied requirements, and discriminators.
  • Translate mission needs into solution concepts, CONOPS, mission workflows, system architectures, staffing models, transition approaches, risk mitigations, and measurable outcomes.
  • Shape solutions across lifecycle sustainment; systems engineering and software modernization; operations, planning, training, and readiness; intelligence analysis and operations; and UXS/C-UXS employment and integration.
  • Integrate people, process, technology, data, cyber, training, sustainment, and operations into coherent solutions, using SMEs for depth while retaining ownership of the integrated approach.
  • Lead development of scorable strengths, discriminators, proof points, storyboards, annotated graphics, white papers, technical volume outlines, and persuasive technical narratives.
  • Serve as technical volume lead or senior technical authority, including writing, rewriting, one-voicing, page-count management, solution alignment, and defense through gate, color-team, and executive reviews.
  • Brief senior leaders on novel or high-impact solutions, alternatives, risks, and recommendations, and influence decisions on matters of strategic importance.
