Principal Full Cycle Recruiter

About The Position

Quadric is seeking a Principal Recruiter to lead full-cycle talent acquisition for critical and complex technical and business functions. This is a high-impact, autonomous role where the recruiter will be the primary recruiting engine for the company. The position involves partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leadership, acting as a talent advisor, providing market intelligence, and closing exceptional candidates in a competitive market. The roles will cover areas such as chip architecture, compiler engineering, ML, software, and go-to-market/business functions.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on technical roles (hardware, software, or adjacent) — in-house experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting for semiconductor, AI/ML, systems software, or deep tech companies; you understand what “chip architect” and “compiler engineer” mean and can credibly speak to candidates in these fields.
  • Strong sourcing chops: you’re not reliant on inbound applicants and have a genuine methodology for building pipelines in passive-candidate-heavy markets.
  • Track record of closing senior and specialized candidates in competitive hiring environments, including experience negotiating complex offers.
  • Data-driven approach to recruiting: comfortable tracking and reporting on pipeline metrics, time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and sourcing channel effectiveness.
  • Excellent judgment, communication, and the ability to build trust quickly with senior technical and business stakeholders.
  • You see AI as a force multiplier, not a shortcut. You actively seek out and experiment with AI tools and agents to go further, faster — and you bring that mindset to everything you do.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up where processes are built, not inherited.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting globally, especially across APAC markets (India, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor IP, NPU/GPU/CPU architecture, or the broader edge AI ecosystem.
  • Experience building or scaling recruiting programs, not just filling reqs — e.g., setting up a new ATS, launching an employee referral program, or developing interview training.
  • Background in a technical field (engineering degree, coding bootcamp, or equivalent exposure) that gives you genuine fluency when talking to deep-tech candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle — from kickoff through sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer, and close — for 8–12 active requisitions at a time across technical and non-technical functions.
  • Build and maintain deep talent pipelines through proactive outbound sourcing via LinkedIn, GitHub, conference networks, employee referrals, and domain-specific communities, particularly within the semiconductor, AI/ML, and systems software ecosystems.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and the Head of People: challenge job requirements when needed, advise on compensation positioning, and bring relevant market data into every search.
  • Design and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through day one, reflecting Quadric’s values of integrity, humility, and care for people.
  • Develop structured interview processes and scorecards in partnership with hiring teams to drive consistent, bias-reduced decision-making.
  • Manage and optimize recruiting tooling (ATS, sourcing platforms, scheduling tools) and ensure data hygiene and pipeline visibility for leadership reporting.
  • Contribute to employer branding efforts — helping tell Quadric’s story to candidates in ways that are accurate, compelling, and differentiated.
  • Support global hiring across US, APAC, and other regions in partnership with local HR and legal, ensuring compliance with regional requirements (GDPR).
  • Define and drive recruiting programs, mentor junior team members, and shape how the talent function scales as the company grows.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision plan options starting on day one
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Flexible paid time off (unlimited, non-accrual)
  • Company-provided lunches and a stocked kitchen (when working in-office)
  • Support for commuting, including monthly parking or Caltrain passes
  • Discretionary annual performance bonus
