About The Position

Principal Engineers are renowned technical experts who solve the most complex engineering challenges, influence company-wide technical direction, and provide strategic leadership across programs. They break down large-scale problems into actionable work, mentor senior technical leaders, and drive major initiatives that elevate organizational capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive experience solving complex, high-impact engineering problems
  • Demonstrated mastery across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives
  • Experience mentoring senior engineers and guiding technical strategy
  • Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
  • Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CATIA, NX, or equivalent CAD software preferred
  • Experience with composites, advanced manufacturing, or complex aerospace assemblies is ideal

  • Provides strategic leadership, mentoring other leaders and shaping the organization’s technical vision
  • Solves the most complex and strategic problems, shaping the company’s approach to innovation

  • Leads major cross-functional efforts and drives initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction
