Principal Electrical Engineer - Digital Communication/Design Engineering

RTX•Tucson, AZ
•$107,500 - $204,500•Onsite

About The Position

The Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering provides electrical systems engineering for electronic systems across Raytheon’s portfolio. Its work includes architecture, requirements, integration, and test, with technologies spanning RF/RADAR, navigation/IMU/GPS, data link/communication, digital, and power. The department works with electrical product teams that provide detailed electrical product design and with systems teams. The Electrical Subsystems Digital Principal Engineer leads or supports multidisciplinary system design and integration, digital design efforts, digital subsystem architecture, and initial integration for development guidance systems, especially designs containing FPGAs. The role may include Control Account Management (CAM) responsibilities. Assignments may span the hardware systems lifecycle, including design and analysis, electronic systems architecture, subsystem requirements and test plans, design reviews, presentations, and root-cause failure investigations. The position is onsite in Tucson, Arizona, and may require approximately 25% travel.
