About The Position

As a Principal Customer Solutions Engineer on the Safety Systems & Setpoints team, you will be responsible for leading the development of differentiated, cost effective technical solutions for our customers. You will report to the Customer Solutions Manager for Safety Systems and Setpoints. This position is based out of our Warrendale, PA facility and is eligible for a hybrid working arrangement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of technical solutions that address customer needs, including proposal development, business case creation, and innovative application of existing technologies.
• Drive the execution of product strategies for both emerging and established offerings in key growth markets.
• Partner with sales, product management, engineering, and other customer-facing teams to translate market intelligence into differentiated customer value propositions.
• Develop business cases that support investment decisions, align solutions with market demands, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
• Assess customer challenges and deliver tailored solutions that improve operational performance, and long-term sustainability.
• Interpret contract requirements and define project-specific deliverables that enable successful execution and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead cross-functional proposal teams and support complex commercial negotiations to secure profitable contracts and drive revenue growth.
• Monitor competitive market dynamics and develop winning strategies that differentiate Westinghouse solutions.
• Collaborate directly with customers to align technical solutions with their specifications, business objectives, and budget constraints.
