About The Position

The Principal Consultant - Senior Product Owner will work with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and technology needs, then gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements for technology projects. The role translates business needs into user stories, workflows, and technical specifications, and conducts gap analyses and impact assessments to ensure solutions align with business goals. The role works closely with development teams, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions and help design scalable, efficient systems. It requires a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and system integration, as well as the ability to assess existing systems and recommend improvements. Serving as a liaison between business and technical teams, the position communicates technical concepts to varied audiences, prepares reports and documentation, and facilitates meetings and workshops. It also supports user acceptance testing, implementation troubleshooting, and the transition from development to production, including documentation and training. The stated salary range is $150,000–$175,000 gross (base plus bonuses), along with standard Nagarro benefits.

Requirements

8–12 years of experience as a business analyst or product owner in a technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of software development, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and system integration.
Ability to break down complex business problems and translate them into technical solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with business and technical teams.
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Experience working in Agile environments with product owners, developers, and testers.
Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Agile methodologies, API documentation tools such as Postman or Swagger, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is described as a plus.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience in AI, machine learning, or data analytics projects.
Certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, or Agile certifications.
