About The Position

This position is responsible for leading various activities related to Cash Forecasting and Treasury Reporting, Corporate Model Updates and Interest Expense Forecasting, Finance Committee and Investor Presentations, Financing Plans and Execution, Regulatory support, Covenant Compliance and SEC Disclosures. At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics or related discipline
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance and capital markets
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, capital markets and credit ratings
  • Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize information into management presentations
  • Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.

  • MBA, CPA, MS Economics/Finance, or CFA

Responsibilities

  • Support monthly Cash Highlights meeting analyzing the cash forecast providing explanation. Develop summary of major monthly cash drivers for the CFO highlights package. Challenge subsidiary forecast assumptions and identify volatility items to ensure the company is proactively addressing financing needs.
  • Manage Treasury updates of the Corporate Model with a focus on credit metrics and debt capacity calculations.
  • Develop presentations for the Finance Committee and Investment Community including financial forecast updates and debt capacity estimates/reconciliations.
  • Develop presentations to rating agencies including management and financial updates.
  • Evaluate financing alternatives and develop recommendations for the Treasurer. Design financing plans to meet liquidity targets and efficiently manage PSEG’s debt portfolio.
  • Develop hedging strategies to manage interest rate risk.
  • Support due diligence meetings with bond underwriters. Maintain debt and embedded costs schedules. Analyze, evaluate, and recommend alternative forms of corporate financing and financial strategies.
  • Perform Debt Covenant Compliance. Support Treasury reviews and documentation of SEC items. Manage internal audits and compliance with respect to SOX controls.
