About The Position

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP is seeking a mid-level Corporate Finance Associate to join its Debt, Servicing and Restructuring group in the Atlanta, Boston, or New York offices. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding practice that manages a range of financial and real estate matters for a variety of clients. The Debt, Servicing and Restructuring group focuses on real estate and finance matters throughout the United States, including senior, mezzanine, and equity financing, as well as acquisitions, dispositions, development, foreclosures, and workouts. The team represents lenders and commercial real estate developers in a variety of transactions across the United States.

Requirements

• Mid-level finance associate with meaningful experience
• 3 to 5 years of transaction finance experience
• Admitted, and in good standing, to the Georgia, Massachusetts, and/or New York state Bar(s)
• Exceptional organization and writing skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Eager to work in a fast-paced team environment representing sophisticated clients on complex deals

Nice To Haves

• Experience representing borrowers is also a plus

Responsibilities

• Managing project workflows
• Drafting substantive credit documents on behalf of private credit providers, banks, and/or other financial institutions
• Representing lenders and commercial real estate developers in a variety of transactions
