About The Position

Veryan Medical is a vascular medical device company focused on differentiated technologies for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease. Backed by Otsuka, the company offers the stability of a larger parent organization while maintaining the agility and upside of a growth-stage commercial team. Veryan is seeking a Principal Account Manager to drive business across the Northeast, with flexibility to pursue opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic markets as needed. This is a high-autonomy role for an experienced endovascular medical device sales rep who can step into the territory with minimal ramp time. The right candidate will have strong experience in the peripheral vascular space, understand how to navigate hospital systems and cath labs, and be comfortable calling on vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and interventional radiologists. The territory is a mix of market development and existing business, so this person needs to be able to both grow current accounts and win new ones.

Requirements

  • Proven success in endovascular / peripheral vascular medical device sales.
  • Experience with products such as stents, atherectomy, balloons, thrombectomy, or related arterial intervention technologies.
  • 3+ years of successful medical device sales experience, preferably in a procedural or hospital-based environment.
  • Strong experience in peripheral vascular, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, thrombectomy, or adjacent interventional markets.
  • Proven ability to call on and build relationships with vascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and interventional radiologists.
  • Demonstrated success selling in the cath lab, hybrid OR, or other complex procedural settings.
  • Ability to provide high-level clinical support and communicate product value credibly in front of physicians.
  • Track record of driving adoption, converting physician preference, and growing utilization within hospital accounts.
  • Experience navigating hospital systems, including contracting, value analysis, formulary processes, and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Hunter mentality with the ability to open new accounts while also expanding existing business.
  • Strong territory management, business planning, and pipeline development skills.
  • Comfortable working in a growth-stage commercial environment where independence, ownership, and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Philadelphia territory and surrounding geography as needed.
