About The Position

Full-time, hospital-employed physician position in a Rural Health Center. The team consists of one Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) and one Nurse Practitioner (NP). The center operates Monday through Thursday from 0700 to 1700 and Friday from 0700 to 1600. The position is open to newly trained and practicing physicians. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine, with certification required within five years of completing residency. An active Indiana medical license or International Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) status is required. BLS must be maintained for all specialties; ACLS must be maintained and is required for applicants seeking conscious sedation privileges. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary, PSLF eligibility, medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage, a 403(b) plan with employer matching contributions, health, medical, dental, and vision coverage, local country club membership, and an annual CME allowance.

Requirements

Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine; certification must be obtained within five years of completing residency.

Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; BLS is required for all specialties.
Maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; ACLS is required for applicants seeking conscious sedation privileges.
