Primary Care Physician
About The Position
The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. The role keeps medical histories and records and refers patients to specialists as needed. It begins to influence department strategy and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding the technical approach for project components. Work is performed without direction, with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. This is a patient-facing role and participates in Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Selected candidates will be required to be screened for TB. The physician must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five or more years of technical experience.
- Meet the licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
- Willingness to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone.
